A Note from Mrs. Curtis-
Hello! My name is Mrs. Curtis and I am the principal at Cole Camp Elementary. This is my second year in the district and 19th year in education as a whole. I love my job: the students, the staff, and the community. Everyone makes each and every day a great day to be a bluebird!
My husband (Troy) and I have two kids: Ellie (13) and Beau (3). I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005 with my Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education and started teaching at Parkview Elementary in Sedalia, Missouri. I taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade for 15 years. I got my Masters in Administration through William Woods University in 2012. I left the classroom to be a technology specialist for the Sedalia school district in 2019. This led me to be an instructional coach for 2 years at Heber Hunt Elementary in Sedalia. I have a passion for curriculum and what is being taught in the classrooms.
We have an amazing staff here at Cole Camp that give their all each and every day! I love to show off the students' accomplishments and all that they are doing so make sure you find us and follow us on Facebook to see the great things happening.
Please note that if your child needs to change their transportation, we would appreciate a note to the teacher or a call at the school before 2:00 that day. If we don't have a phone call or note, we will send the student home the way their pink slip says. Miss Christina, our school secretary, does an amazing job of getting the information out to parents and teachers. Know that she has 500 students she is helping so patience and communication is appreciated. She is not in her office from 12:15-12:45 daily as that is her only break.
